Donations and Sponsorship Opportunities 

Houston Velocity Field Hockey Club (HVFHC) has served the greater Houston area since the Spring of 2021. Since our inception, HVFHC has helped hundreds of Houston youth, between the ages of 5 and 18, to learn and enjoy the sport of Field Hockey. Field Hockey is largely played in the Northeast of the United States and is largely a new sport to Texas. In our first year of operations we:

• ​Traveled 9,350 miles to compete in four national tournaments
• Coached 200+ individual players in practices and camps
• Received $17,378 in donations from community members

HVFHC is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN:86-1959186). The club's primary revenue source is registration fees. To keep costs low for our players and accommodate scholarship players we seek community support to partially cover operating expenses and offer scholarship assistance to players hoping to gain exposure at national tournaments. Your assistance is appreciated to help us continue to develop young players and offer local, regional and national competition opportunities. HVFHC is preparing players for collegiate play.

• $250 Balls
• $500 Team Tent
• $500 Tournament T-shirts (up to 6 tournaments a year)
• $750 Send a scholarship player to a national tournament
• $1,200 Border Patrol Hockey Barriers to divide field playing areas
• $1,500 Two Indoor Field Hockey Goals
• $2,000 Intro to Field Hockey Event at a local elementary or middle school (includes coaching and sticks)
• $3,500 Assistant Coach Salary for a season
• $5,000 Two Regulation Outdoor Field Hockey Goals

Donors sponsoring events will be recognized on a banner at the event.

Sponsorships:

• $5,000 Field/Facility Rental for a season

Sponsors will also be recognized on our website as well as on banners at our practice field.
