Cal Cup

CalCup: May 28 - May 30

CalCup started in 1974 and is North America's only Field Hockey tournament featuring clubs and teams from countries such as USA, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Holland and Spain. With over 150 teams, there are 4 games (50 min games. 25 min halves being played) guaranteed with more like 5 or 6 games to be played. Free youth clinics available at CalCup, music with a DJ, a sponsored Bowling party with live music. Field hockey vendors, food courts and college coaches will be in attendance. Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams in all divisions.

U14 Birthdate cutoff 1/1/2008 

• 6v6 with goalie
• $400 per player
• Parent(s) will have to travel with their kid(s)

U19 Birthday cutoff 1/1/2003

• 11v11 with goalie
• $250 per Guest player - travel with parents (responsible for flight, transportation, food and housing)
• $475 per player - travel with team (includes registration fee, transportaion, 3 meals and housing for weekend) FLIGHT NOT INCLUDED

If you do not have a Houston Velocity Uniform, you will need to purchase one. This uniform will be used for all tournaments we play in. The cost of the uniform is $95. This includes reversible uniform top, skirt and compression shorts.

If you do not have a USAFH membership she will need to purchase one. This is a yearly $60 fee and they must have this to participate. This membership also gives discounts on stores and flights with United.

$200 Non-Refundable Fee at registration will be collected and subtracted from your total cost. We will invoice you for uniforms and remaining registration fees.

To participate in this tournament you must be registered for the spring season with Velocity.
